1. The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive representative of all Employees of the Bargaining Units in Section 2 below, in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute and all other existing directives, for the purpose of negotiation, and the administration of this contract.
2. The two Bargaining Units consist of all professional and nonprofessional, non- supervisory Employees, in separate units, employed by the U.S. Geological Survey, National Mapping Division, Mapping Applications Center, as follows:
(a) All professional General Schedule Employees employed by the U.S. Geological Survey, National Mapping Division, Mapping Applications Center, Reston, VA.
(b) All General Schedule and Federal Wage System nonprofessional Employees employed by the U.S. Geological Survey, National Mapping Division, Mapping Applications Center, Reston, VA.
3. All management officials, supervisors, and Employees described in 5 USC 7112(b)(1)(2)(3)(4)(6) and (7) are excluded.
