Updates the Local Membership Lists & Provides them to the Chief Steward.
Maintains Local Finance Records.
Responds to Questions Regarding Billing, Per Capita, etc.
Address Changes/Corrections.
Manage Local's Budget.
Grievance & NEC: This committee's purpose is to represent
employees and the union in informal complaints, grievances, and third party proceedings. This
includes determining whether to arbitrate a case.
Grievance issues.
Health & Safety: This committee represents the union on agency
safety committeess, and advises the local and management on all workplace safety and health issues.
The Union may appoint three representatives to serve as members of the MAC Safety Committee. The
representatives must attend appropriate training.
Health & Safety Issues.
Legislative: The locals congressional action committee. It monitors
the status of legislation affecting Federal employees, attends Lobby Week, informs members of
Congress about issues affecting Bargaining Unit employees and coordinates grass roots lobbying
efforts when needed.

Training (Union): This committee promotes the continuation of training,
development, and career opportunities of bargaining unit employees as well as union
representatives.
